My name is Anastasia, and I’m 28 years old.
After graduating from secondary school (11th grade), I was faced with a question:
“What do I truly want to do with my life, and what brings me joy?”
Let me start from the beginning—
I was lucky to be born into a large family with many children, and I’m the oldest among my siblings and cousins.
Naturally, I spent a lot of time throughout my childhood and teenage years with younger kids. I played with them, cared for them, and tried to teach them what I had already learned.
So when I started thinking about my calling, I quickly realized that I wanted to work in a kindergarten or elementary school.
I graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University (MPGU) with a degree in Elementary Education.
While studying, I also worked at an early childhood development center, where I gained hands-on experience—and it was there that I fully fell in love with the role of an educator.
Now, I’ve been working with preschoolers for 7 years, caring for and teaching children of all ages—from 8 months to 7 years old—and I get enormous joy from doing what I love.
If you asked me:
“What exactly attracts you to this profession?”
I would say this:
With children, I feel free.
I learn with them to enjoy every moment and to notice the beauty in the world around us.
But most of all, I love watching how—day by day—children grow, learn, and discover the world.
